It comes as rather a shock that we have been running Fern Villa for 20 years, it doesn’t feel like any time at all. We moved in on 28th April 2006 to a full house of guests having never had our own business or had any dealings with Bed and Breakfasts/Guest Houses. It is lovely that some of the guests who were with us in the first few years of us finding our feet still come and stay with us, many now as friends. We still enjoy what we are doing but age is catching up with us and we do find that some days are harder than others especially if we have a full house turnaround. We are planning on keeping going for at least another 2 years and then we’ll have a review and decide what our next steps will be.
It’s our 40th wedding anniversary in August and we will be closing for just over a week. We have some great days out planned and look forward to telling you all about them on here and on social media.
