We live in a fish and seafood lovers paradise, taste the difference as it comes straight out of the sea and onto your plate. Plenty of options for meat and vegetarian lovers too.

If you are visiting Oban then our favourite place to sit down and eat is Oban Fish and Chips on the one way road into the town.   Or for some seafood make your way to Oban Seafood Hut, which is near the ferry terminal.  We can also recommend Poppies, for a nice bit of lunch, which is between the Connel Bridge and Oban.  

Below you’ll find some suggestions of where we like to eat nearer to home, in the daytime and the evening.

There are other places nearby but we only like to recommend where we have eaten ourselves and have enjoyed a meal

Many places have seasonal opening hours so include in your daily planning where you are going to have your evening meal and make a reservation if necessary.

If you are travelling by public transport please make note of the opening days of the local eateries. 

To avoid spills, stains and lingering smells please don’t eat in your room.  If you’d like to bring food back to eat in the house please let us know and we will set up a table in the Breakfast Room for you.
