Eilean Donan is situated on an island where 3 lochs meet - Loch Duich, Loch Alsh and Loch Long.
It is probably the most recognised castle in Scotland.
There has been many versions of the castle, the latest was in 1911 when the island was bought and the castle restoration began, it took 20 years before it re-opened.
Approximately a 2 hour drive on the A82 and A87.
