Just a very short walk from Fern Villa Guest House is the Ember Bus stop. A new electric bus service introduced in 2025.

We enjoyed a very comfortable ride down to Glasgow on 4th August 2026 to visit the Kelvingrove Museum. As we are OAPs we got to use our bus pass and travelled for free.
