Bishop's Bay is easy to reach and is only 5 minutes away by car from Fern Villa Guest House. Take the A82 towards Fort William, after you’ve crossed the Ballachulish Bridge take the first right sign posted Loch Leven Hotel.
Park opposite the Holroyd Gallery in the parking bay. The gallery is worth a visit.
Head towards the water, when you reach the jetty (take care it can be slippery) you will see a footpath to your left. Follow this along the loch side until it opens up to the bay. It’s a beautiful spot abundant with wild flowers and you might just be lucky enough to spot an otter.
