Approximately a 1.15 hour drive (plus Corran Ferry times) from Fern Villa Guest House you can discover Castle Tioram (pronounced Cheerum).
The castle is one of our favourite places to go. It's on a rocky tidal island where Loch Moidart and the River Shiel meet. You cross a causeway to reach the castle and on the countless times we have visited here the causeway has never been covered with water.
It is not open to the public due to it's condition but you can explore around the outside.
