A scenic drive from Fern Villa Guest House towards Mallaig the National Trust for Scotland Glenfinnan site is on the banks of Loch Shiel where you can learn about Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite uprising. There are some pleasant walks around the area.
Also well known for the viaduct made more famous by Harry Potter and the Hogwarts Express.
